West Newton/Highway 10

The West Newton/Highway 10 Neighbourhood Concept Plan covers land along the north side of Highway 10, forming the southernmost of three NCP sub-areas within the broader West Newton community, which sits west of King George Boulevard in Surrey's established West Newton neighbourhood. Approved by Surrey City Council in July 2004, the plan provides land use, road network, and engineering infrastructure direction for what was previously large suburban lots and forested land that remained undeveloped through much of the 20th century. The NCP is predominantly residential in character, with supporting park and institutional uses, and sits between the earlier West Newton South and West Newton North plans that collectively govern land generally between Highway 10 and 68 Avenue.
