BC Foreclosure & Judicial Sale Opportunities

LandPlay tracks court-ordered land sales in the Fraser Valley. We represent buyers navigating the BC Supreme Court process and lenders requiring conduct of sale.

For Buyers & Investors

Find Court-Ordered Land

We monitor BC Supreme Court filings in the New Westminster and Chilliwack court registries — the filing locations for Fraser Valley land. Properties are located throughout Surrey and the Township of Langley; the registry is determined by geography, not ownership. When opportunities arise, registered clients hear first.

The Process

How BC Judicial Sales Work

01

Petition Filed

A lender or creditor files a petition in BC Supreme Court to foreclose on a property.

02

Order Nisi Granted

The court grants an Order Nisi, setting a redemption period for the owner to pay the debt.

03

Order Absolute & Listing

If the debt is not repaid, the court appoints a realtor and the property is listed for sale.

04

Court Approval

All offers require court approval. The court typically requires a Report on Value (ROV) to confirm pricing is appropriate. The process adds timeline complexity but protects all parties.

Timelines vary. LandPlay guides buyers and lenders through each stage. Read the full guide →
